Deutsche Poker Tour (DPT) held at Kings Casino drew players from all over the world and was a raging success. Its main event, which was equally inviting, guaranteed a massive pool prize of €100,000.
The atmosphere was absolutely electric as the DPT tournament attracted talented poker players from across the continents. Crowd filled the grounds of the casino vying for an opportunity to win the grand pot prize, while novice hopefuls were drawn with the promise of watching top rank poker strategies unfold before their eyes.
Abuzz with the thrill and excitement that world class poker main events bring about, the DPT invited players with a €195 buy-in starting players off with a 40,000 chip stack. The event included three flights with levels of 30- minutes.
Professional and beginner poker players were allowed one buy-in along with the possibility of double re-entries valid over all three days of the main event. The tour kicked off with an NHL Freezout offering guaranteed prize winnings of €6,000.

More than 404 poker players registered at the start of the first day event. Day one separated the professionals from the beginner poker players by taking ahead 19 of them to the final day. End of the first day saw Balta Fahrettin finish first with a formidable stack of 439,600 chips.
Final day of the main event began with the players taking full advantage of the possibility to re-enter and the tournament saw a total of 530 poker players ready to have a go at the pot.
The final day of the main event saw German professional players Ali Yildirim and Franz Haid battle it out for the grand title, and the winning prize. After a glorious win and an impressive show of skills during the final deal, Yildrim took home € 21,000 in prize money, while Haid was at the second place with a comfortable €17,000.
